Crew Boss
Training - SUP1-03
Crew Boss Training is a 2 day
course for front line
supervisors developed to provide supervisors of silviculture crews a basic
overview of topics required to function as a crew boss/foreman.
A second supervisor course is
being developed at the project manager level for those who have the
responsibility of supervising several crew bosses and their crews.
There are six modules in the
course set out as listed below with the key learning outcomes of each
module listed. The course is ideally taught by an internal instructor.
Since an internal instructor has intimate knowledge of the company's
management systems as applied to the level of the crew boss, the
instructor will be able to supplement some of the generic information,
such as checklists and specific procedures, with information used by the
company.
