Companies and workers wishing to take WSCA courses If you are interested in pursuing taking a WSCA course, please contact the Registrar to discuss the options which are open to you. The courses are delivered on a course by course basis at a full cost recovery rate. Since that rate varies primarily depending on the location and the number of people participating, we will put together a quote specific to your needs. Courses
* the course length for trainers varies between 1 1/2 and 2 days depending on the number of trainees. Class size limits are dependent on five key considerations
Course Fees for Silviculture CU companies and employees The funding contribution from the Community Development Trust has been successfully completed, having provided subsidies to about 1,200 individuals we trained over the last 2 years. The following are registrations fees starting June 1, 2011 for in-house courses delivered by in-house instructors. Since courses offered though the WSCA are based on cost recovery rates for the cost of the instructor, facilities, equipment, travel, etc., the registration costs will vary based on the course, class size, and location. Please give the Registrar a call to get a quote for your particular needs. Allow at least 15 working days from the time you first discuss your needs with the Registrar to the time of course delivery. From time to time the WSCA may offer courses in specific locations for fixed fees based on a minimum number of students pre-registering with advance payments.
(1) employer covers the cost of the in-house WSCA instructor or a WSCA instructor hired directly by the company (2) WSCA Registrar will provide a quote for registration fee to non Silviculture CU company or worker. (3) On occasion the WSCA may offer a course in a location where there have been requests by small companies who do not have internal trainers or do not have enough workers to warrant setting up their own class. This is not a preferred method of course delivery. (4) The SAW-03 course is in the pilot stage and is available for restricted delivery. Call the Registrar's office for information pertaining to your specific needs. |
